Assessment and discovery

The Initial Enquiry

You do not need a referral to see us. Whether you book online or call, we will ask a few key questions to allocate the right appointment time.

The Comprehensive Consult

We don’t rush. We review your history, symptoms, and previous lens experiences. We perform a general eye health check and use advanced corneal topography to map your eye shape.

  • Note: Please bring any previous topography maps or referral letters if you have them.

Your personalised custom Plan

Tortoise shell eyeglasses, contact lens case with lens cleaning solution, and a blurred brochure or pamphlet on a light-colored wooden surface.

Once we have a clear picture of your eyes, we discuss the best solutions.

  • For Keratoconus and other irregular corneas: We explain why customised specialty lenses may offer better stability than standard glasses.

  • For Myopia Control: We outline different myopia control options based on your child's age and lifestyle.

Fitting and training

We encourage an open dialogue. We will provide a transparent quote and explanation of the fitting package before we proceed.

Trial & Design

We often use diagnostic lenses to assess the fit on your eye dynamically prior to arriving at final design. This guides the design of your custom lenses.

Dispensing & Teaching

When your custom lenses arrive, we verify the vision and fit. Crucially, we dedicate time to teach you. You will practice insertion, removal, and hygiene until you feel confident handling your lenses at home.

Refining the Fit

A custom lens is a precision device, it often requires fine-tuning.

Early Follow-ups (1 week – 1 month)

We check your vision and how the lens interacts with your eye after hours of wear. Minor adjustments to the fit or prescription are common and included in your package.

Your Feedback

Comfort is key. We want to know if you experience fogging, dryness, or fluctuation. Your feedback helps us perfect the design.

Ongoing care & Support

Vision care doesn’t end after the fitting. We recommend reviews every 6 to 12 months to monitor corneal health and lens condition. We are also here for emergency visits if you lose a lens or experience sudden changes.
